Load shedding continues to hurt the economy of the country and a recent survey shows that employers have noticed a 45% drop in productivity as a result of load shedding. The survey showed that it has also impacted on worker confidence and mood.
The blackouts are impacting most businesses negatively leading to increased costs for businesses and a drop in revenue. This has seen some employers needing to downsize workforces or make cuts to salaries paid.
